Communicate Directly with DPS in an Emergency With the push of a button, the user can communicate directly with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) Communication Center. If you need immediate assistance from the Department of Public Safety, with the push of a button you will be connected directly to emergency dispatch in the Department of Public Safety.
