At 1:41am on Sunday, May 8, 2016, a female undergraduate student was punched twice in the face by a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white drawstring at the traffic light in front of Forbes Annex and Alexander Road. The male took her wallet and fled into the Springdale golf course. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Princeton Police Department (PPD) immediately responded to check the area. They were not able to locate the suspect. DPS and PPD will continue to check the area.
A former employee returned to Terrace Club on Washington Road about 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, and was asked to leave. The former employee, Darnell Pygum, refused to leave, and club staff called the Princeton Police Department. The former employee left before officers arrived. Early this afternoon, the club received a phone call from him, threatening the club. Princeton police are actively investigating the threat. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Princeton Police Department immediately at 609-921-2100.
