On Friday, May 2, traffic on Faculty Road will be alternated on one lane between Elm Drive and Washington Road from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm due to utility work related to the development of the Lakeside Graduate Housing project. Work will continue on Sunday, May 4. Faculty Road between Elm Drive and Washington Road will be closed to through traffic from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on this day. During the closure on May 4, vehicles will be able to access Elm Drive by traveling from Alexander Street. Additionally, vehicles will be able to access the Princeton University boathouse by travelling from Washington Road. On Monday and Tuesday, May 5 and 6, traffic on Faculty Road will be alternated on one lane between Elm Drive and Washington Road from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
A former employee returned to Terrace Club on Washington Road about 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, and was asked to leave. The former employee, Darnell Pygum, refused to leave, and club staff called the Princeton Police Department. The former employee left before officers arrived. Early this afternoon, the club received a phone call from him, threatening the club. Princeton police are actively investigating the threat. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Princeton Police Department immediately at 609-921-2100.
